As I mentioned earlier that I've only played for a little more than  Elyon Gold 20 hours to this point and am far from making a decision regarding whether Elyon will be my primary MMO in the near future. However, to date I've had lots of enjoyment playing the first levels. The progression through the first levels is quite quick. Even if you prefer to hear the voices and read every word of the text for quests getting to level 30 within a few hours is still a feasible target. I made it to the mid-30s just completing the story and regions quests. No mob grinding was required. Even when I was short of experience to get between levels 35 and level 36. It took only some minutes to repeat some quests in order to earn the XP required to progress.

The climb to level 30 was a minimal effort, however it's not due to bad design choices on the part of Krafton. The mindset of the majority of MMO players is to rush, hurry, rush. Making more quests than is necessary is seen as an attempt by the developers to extend playtime artificially without any substance. A number of long-running MMOs such as Final Fantasy XIV and Neverwinter have been slammed by players due to this issueand have even gone to the extent of removing additional nonsense from the initial levels.

Paying attention to players' preferences of the moment The first thirty or more levels of Elyon are more of an introduction and tutorial to the story more than any other thing else. The game doesn't even introduce other things like gathering crafting, running dungeons and PvP battles, as well as the rest of the MMO accessories until you're into your 30s. Personally, I found this to be an efficient method to keep me focused on completing the "good things" before I became distracted by other tasks that were not related to combat.

So so far, I've tried playing Gunner and Slayer However, my new Mystic class has captured my attention at the moment. The three classes (and I'm assuming the other classes too) can crush every single solo game I've played to date. Even with one of the most potent spells in Mystic, the combination of stuns, mobility, and damage to the area of effect spells seem a bit overpowered. If nothing drastic happens and I'm not expecting that to change until the higher levels. It's not about the monster's hit points, neither. Making enemies damage cheapest Elyon Gold sponges won't make fighting any more fun It would only extend the duration of each battle by just a few seconds.
