Players will be able to craft and upgrade their equipment, interact with NPCs and tackle a variety of side quests inspired in the traditional MMORPG OSRS Buy Gold. The board game will be launched through the launch of a Kickstarter campaign later in the year. Meanwhile, the main tabletop RPG book is expected to launch directly in stores.

The tabletop core book RPGs will notably be fully compatible with massive tabletop RPG Dungeons and Dragons the fifth edition of the core books, allowing Dungeon Masters to seamlessly incorporate elements from RuneScape into their games.

Jagex President Phil Mansell was optimistic about this project and expressed his enthusiasm about his enthusiasm for the Kickstarter campaign "involving those from RuneScape groups," as Steamforged CCO Mat Hart believed the "rich RuneScape universe will be beautifully translated" into a tabletop setting.

RuneScape has seen a significant expansion since its initial browser-based launch in recent years with Steamforged's board game just the latest offering from Jagex. In an interview, numerous Jagex employees discussed transitioning Runescape's mobile edition into an all-platform release in September of last year, a cross-platform release.

Jagex collaborated with the creator of the most popular Old School RuneScape mod RuneLite HD to provide the HD version available to players of all ages rs 07 gold.
