Have you ever been OSRS gold wondering who the players with this fancy helmet icon on the chat? Perhaps you've seen some of them appearing differently than the majority of the player base, wearing strange set bits that do not match. All these will be the Ironmen - many devoted players of Old School RuneScape who chose to do everything in the game by themselves. Because Ironman players are limited to be self-sufficient (which means that they cannot trade with or use the Grand Exchange)they must rely on crafting.

WHO ARE IRONMAN PLAYERS? Adventurers choosing to make their game even harder than it's may want to elevate its difficulty by becoming an Ironman. Currently, there are three different types of these in OSRS. Standard Ironman - Have to be utterly self-sufficient, meaning that they won't be able to get any merchandise or items made or acquired by others. It includes drop stealing, trading, entering their residence, receiving EXP for murdering them, etc..

Hardcore Ironman - Same as the preceding, except death in this mode is punished by degrading Hardcore Ironman into the Normal Ironman. It doesn't apply to safe minigames such as Nightmare Zone. Ultimate Ironman - Just like previously, they're given Standard Ironman limitations with some extra ones. They are restricted from using banks of RuneScape, restricted from utilizing Managing Miscellania, or utilize a seed vault. On top of this, they will lose their things upon death (although they will keep cheap RuneScape gold  untradable items ).
